Your passenger door won't open from the outside even after unlocking it with the key fob or door locks, which could be dangerous in an emergency. Additionally, your engine is burning through oil much faster than normal—your oil warning light comes on well before the scheduled 3,000-mile oil change interval. The door latch mechanism may need replacement, and the engine may require inspection for excessive oil consumption and carbon buildup.

Rear driver door does not open. The door has not been damaged but just stopped opening. It’s a safety issue because if something was to happen they could be stuck in the car.
The passenger rear door no longer opens from either the outside or inside. Door unlocks but unable to open door.
Rear passenger door handle stopped working. Door locks and unlocks but the door won't open. This is a serious safety issue that could lead to entrapment of a passenger. Problem is NOT intermittent and a local mechanic confirmed it. Vehicle has not been inspected by the manufacturer or anyone else other than my mechanic.
