While driving at 45 mph, you noticed smoke coming from your front driver's side brakes, so you pulled over and had the car towed home. No warning lights appeared on your dashboard before this happened. Hyundai told you that your vehicle wasn't part of a recall for this issue. This repair will likely involve inspecting the brake system for overheating, worn pads, or stuck calipers, and replacing any damaged brake components.

Your brakes suddenly locked up while driving, causing the wheels to stop turning and requiring the car to be dragged onto a tow truck. A mechanic indicated this may be caused by a faulty HECU (hydraulic electronic control unit), the same component that triggered a recall on Hyundai Genesis models, though your Tucson hasn't been recalled for this issue. The fix would likely involve inspecting and possibly replacing the HECU unit.

While driving on the highway, your brakes became stuck and the car wouldn't move in any direction, requiring a tow. The issue was temporarily fixed, but you were told a permanent repair involving an ABS component would cost over $1,000. The repair likely involves replacing or servicing the anti-lock brake system (ABS) module or related components.

I WAS DRIVING WHEN INFORMED THAT BOTH BREAK LIGHTS WENT OUT AT THE EXACT SAME TIME AN I NO LONGER HAVE ANY BREAK LIGHT TO SIGNAL IF I WAS BREAKING. I TOOK CAR TO THE MECHANIC AND WAS TOLD IT WAS NOT THE FUSES NOR WAS IT THE STOP SWITCH THAT IS CAUSING IT TO MALFUNCTION. IT HAS TO DO WITH THE WIRING ISSUE OF THE CAR. I THEN WAS INFORMED THAT THERE HAD BEEN A RECALL ON THE TYPE OF VECHILE THAT I HAVE AND SEVERAL PEOPLE BEEN HAVING THE SAME ISSUE WITH THE MAKE AND MODEL OF THE VEHICLE
