2020 Honda Odyssey Body & Structure Problems

Your power liftgate opens but then closes unexpectedly, dropping partway before reopening and shutting quickly without stopping when it encounters resistance. The liftgate only stops closing when you press the button, which has resulted in it striking you while unloading groceries and poses a serious risk to children or anyone unable to move quickly. This happens frequently and more often in warm weather than cold. The issue is caused by a defective spring assembly and may require replacement of the liftgate mechanism or spring components.

While driving on a surface street at approximately 35 MPH on a 100+ degree afternoon, the glass moonroof suddenly exploded. I did not observe any object striking the car or the roof. The shade was closed, so glass did not enter the cabin.

Rear sliding doors open after putting car in drive and releasing the emergency brake. Problem is intermittent. The car has not yet moved.
