Your car vibrates noticeably when driving between 30-40 mph. This vibration is commonly caused by the axles on 2006-2009 Honda Odyssey models and may develop into a safety concern over time if not addressed.

After installing aftermarket front lower control arms, you may notice the grease fitting (zerk) on the ball joint makes hard contact with the inside of your wheel, causing damage. This could potentially lead to wheel damage while driving, which might affect vehicle control. The issue appears to be a design conflict between the aftermarket part and your vehicle's wheel fitment, and may require either modifying the grease fitting, using a different control arm design, or adjusting wheel fitment.

Your van's check engine light came on shortly after purchase due to a faulty catalytic converter, but the dealership turned it off without fixing the underlying problem. Within days, the serpentine belt broke, and when the dealership repaired it, they only used temporary adhesive (JB Weld) on a broken bolt in the tensioner instead of replacing the bolt properly — causing the belt to fail again a week later. The vehicle is now undrivable and will cost $800+ to repair correctly, and you've also discovered the van was in a previous wreck that wasn't disclosed when you bought it.

REAR RIGHT WHEEL CAMBER CAN'T BE ALIGNED WITH EXTENSIVE NOISE FROM REAR SUSPENSION. CONCERN THAT SUSPENSION COULD BE FAILING. HAVE HONDA CARE WARRANTY FROM THE MANUFACTURER BUT THEY REFUSED TO DIAGNOSE AND SOLVE THE PROBLEM. DEALER WANTS THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS TO TEAR DOWN AND REBUILD THE SUSPENSION AT MY EXPENSE, WHICH IS A SIGNIFICANT FINANCIAL BURDEN IN SPITE OF THE WARRANTY
THE STRUTS FAILED TO HOLD UP THE TAILGATE AND FALL ON MY WIFE HEAD, DURING THE LOADING OF OUR GROCERIES ON OUR RECENT GROCERY'S OUTING. THE TWO GAS-POWERED TAILGATE STRUTS (SUPPORT RODS) THAT RAISE AND HOLD UP THE POWER TAILGATE OF THE HONDA ODYSSEY VAN'S EQUIPPED WITH THEM FAILED TO HOLD UP THE TAILGATE. THEY ARE NOW NO LONGER FUNCTIONAL. *TR
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2009 HONDA ODYSSEY. WHILE DRIVING 60 MPH, THE CONTACT NOTICED THAT THE FRONT END OF THE VEHICLE BEGAN TO VIBRATE SLIGHTLY. THE VEHICLE WAS THEN TAKEN TO THE DEALER, WHERE THE TWO FRONT TIRES WERE BALANCED, BUT THE FAILURE CONTINUED. IN ADDITION, THE CONTACT STATED THAT MOMENTS AFTER OPENING THE REAR HATCH, HE WAS STRUCK IN THE BACK WHEN THE HATCH FELL DOWNWARD. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN BACK TO THE DEALER AND THE REAR GAS STRUTS WERE REPLACED. THE CURRENT AND FAILURE MILEAGES WERE 38,000.
