2015 Honda Civic Airbags Problems

I was in a car accident, I rear ended a vehicle. The other vehicle was stopped, I did not break at all and ran into them. My airbags did not deploy & there was substantial damage to my vehicle (deemed totaled by insurance assessor).

On 10/15/2022 our 2015 Honda Civic Coupe vehicle was in a front end collision at 70 mph. NONE of the airbags deployed. The vehicle is at my insurance company wrecking yard and would be available for inspection, if needed. My 16 year old son had injuries including a concussion and whiplash due to the air bags not deploying. The police, firefighters, paramedics, hospital doctors, and my insurance company ALL say that the airbags should have absolutely deployed. There were no warning lamps or messages that alerted us there was any concern before the accident.

ABS BRAKE SYSTEM FAILURE AND UNABLE TO STEER VEHICHLE CAUSING ACCIDENT. FRONT PASSENGER SIDE AIRBAG DID NOT DEPLOY FOR FRONT PASSENGER. If THE PASSENGER DID NOT MOVE HIS HEAD WHEN HE DID AND DRIVER THEY BOTH LIKELY WOULD HAVE BEEN KILLED IN THE ACCIDENT. WHEN THIS VEHICHLE WAS PURCHASED AT THE CARMAX DEALERSHIP LESS THAN 60 DAYS AGO, IT WAS ASSURED OF NO ISSUES, HOWEVER IT DID HAVE LOW TIRE PRESSURE WARNINGS AND THEY PUT AIR IN TIRES AT THE TIME OF TEST DRIVE, I HAVE READ SOME PEOPLE HAVE HAD LOW TIRE WARNING / ABS ISSUES PRIOR TO ABS FAILURES AND WISH THIS TO BE INVESTIGATED. THIS IS SUSPICIOUS.

I was leaving work hopped into my car and started driving. About 20 minutes of being on the road my passenger seat airbag deployed and the roof curtain one for passenger side as well. I got out of my car to inspect for damage found none.

I suffered severe injuries including a grand mal seizure and 2 brain bleeds because I bounced my head off the steering wheel as well as my passenger hitting her head on the dash and causing her to blackout because the car airbags did not go off when we got hit by someone driving 65 MPH.

My airbags did not deploy when I was rear ended with my seatbelt on when I was stopped at a stoplight on a busy suburban street. My airbag light goes off and on at times. I was told fixing the airbag problem was not covered.

Tanaka recall, I haven't received any notice from honda about the airbags! A recent accident deployed the airbags and the car is a loss of total! Do I get any restitution before the accident happened?

I was involved in an accident on 5/29/17. My car was hit on the left rear near the fender well. The car spun out of control across the interstate and hit the guard rail facing the traffic.

The vehicle (v-2) was involved in a collision at the 1-5 nb cypress off ramp in redding california in evening peak hour traffic (at 1810). V-2 was struck by v-1, which in turn pushed v-2 into v-3. Both v-1 and v-2 were stationary at the time of collision.

During 2019, the airbag srs code b0001-13 appeared. I made 2 visits to walser honda in burnville. Mn to correct the problem.

Takata recall; airbag light has come on twice for no reason over the past 3 months for a few days at a time and will go off. Has come on only when stationary and shows until it decides to go off after I've started the vehicle after a period of time, as if it never was on. Transmission issue; transmission pulling/slipping.

We purchased the car in April 2023. Before we got home, the airbag warning light came on. The dealer agreed to repair the issue. Now, the airbag warning light is coming on fairly regularly. What should we do?

Unknown The warning on my digital screen is off then comes back on after a few minutes of driving. It happens every time for the past week.

Intermittent warning light for problem with air bag. The light comes on and can stay on for a while, then it will go out and stay off for a while. I don't know if there is a problem with the air bag or with the light.

On 9/30/2022 My son was driving his car on the freeway. The truck in front of him slammed on their brakes suddenly. My son slammed on his brakes but slid into the back of the truck in front of him.

Takata recall I just want to make sure my airbags are working and not defective, because my light to my airbags come on and off every day , it will come on once I get down the street and jump off and then come right back on . Not sure what's going on with them.

I just bought a certified pre-owned honda civic (2015) and the very next day, the "check airbag system" light came on while driving. It goes off each time I start the car, but comes back on after a few minutes of driving.
