(UNKNOWN) I am [XXX] and don't know much about cars but I will explain my issue as detailed as I've experienced it. The issue started on or about two days ago, on [XXX]. The car drives and as I'm driving it, it stalls and/or gets stuck momentarily and then begins to drive again as usual.

I was driving from Roseburg, OR to Sacramento, CA and about 40 minutes prior to arriving in Sacramento, my sunroof exploded. It even sounded like an explosion. The glass appeared to bow upwards and out with a large hole before ng in the middle, and judging by the small amount of glass being held up by the lower part of the sunroof internal cover thingy, it blew outwards.

Automatic transmission sometimes misses gears or slips into neutral while accelerating. So far it has always found a gear eventually, but causes a temporary slowdown that may eventually cause an accident. Ford says there is no issue or the clutch pack needs to be replaced .

On november 4, 2018.I was stopped to make a left-hand turn, I had both my hands on the steering-wheel,I looked left and then I looked right,I pushed down on the gas pedal with my right foot.the car started to go,then it jerked back, and then it died down to nothing and coasted out onto the main road. The car got hit it was a (total loss).

On october 11, 2018 the same day as hurricane michel, my 2016 ford focus st was involved in a single car accident where the vehicle cut off while in motion and lost complete control by itself, causing the car to flip on its side and be completely totaled.

While driving on highway 95 approximately 65 miles per hour southbound I heard a loud explosion, I did not feel any impact on the automobile but began to hear rattling on the top of the roof. When I pulled over, I saw that sunroof had shattered and exploded. The sunroof cover on the inside of the vehicle was closed and had not been opened.

Driver felt a "slipping" of gear while accelerating.The car then stalled at a stop light. Driver was able to get the car started again and drove it 1 mile up the road to Auto zone. Once the car got to Autozone and diagnostic test was ran, the car threw multiple codes for clutch system failure.

2016 Ford Focus Transmission Control Module Recall 14M02. I received a recall notice from Ford on my Transmission Control Module. I called Long-Lewis Ford in Muscle Shoals, Alabama in January 2024 and asked them when I could bring my car in for repair.

All of the lugs nut have swelled likely due to rust under the chrome caps and we can not get the lug wrench provided with the car onto any of the lugs nuts. A properly sized 19mm 4 way lug wrench would not fit either. This prevents us from being able to change a flat tire which could leave us stranded during my commute or on a vacation and left in an unsafe situation on the side.of the highway.

Bought brand new off stevens creek ford frontier, after just 45,000 miles it showed serious transmission issues. At first it would stall and pop up a transmission overheat warning and it would jolt when just trying to step on gas lightly.

2016 Ford Focus with 53,000 miles, driven less than 150 miles per week on average just getting back and forth to work and running errands. Check engine light came on on November 2, 2023. I got a P0344 code from my mechanic who is 5 minutes away from when the check engine light came on.

When I start to go it lags, doesn't want to go like it gets stuck in gear. No it has not been seen by dealer but other cars the same as mine has had recalls due to the same issue. No warning lights or signal lights come on.

Shortly after fueling my car, it will start to act like it’s going to stall. Sometimes it stalls completely, other times I am able to accelerate the problem away. My car runs very loud, shaky, and rough.

A code of P0086 Fuel Rails System Pressure too low appears when starting a warm engine and the car stalls while accelerating. The check engine light doesn’t come on until after multiple attempts of starting the engine. The rear passenger seatbelt starts to fray and the buckle cuts into it.

I believe it was the fuel system that failed. The safety of myself, my child, and other drivers was at risk. The Ford dealer I spoke to said my vehichle is not affected by the recall that causes this issue (18S32).

Had a few incidents where if you forget to hit the shut off button to the ecoboost that will shut your engine off during a stop light/traffic stop to save gas, it would completely stall the engine out when pulling out of a parking lot. Only had two incidents of this,of course I've always chose to push the button to save the starter.

I just recently bought a car and it has been stalling while driving and having difficulty starting/revving itself up after I fill the gas tank. I have taken it to a shop to get a diagnosis and they said that it might have been the recall for the gas tank. Well, I looked up to see if my car had already gotten fix for the recall and it said that it did.

I have an issue with transmission slipping and car be stalling and I had it repaired two months ago and it's just recently started doing the same thing transmission slipping and over heating and it's stalling while driving and I had to turn off the car for a minute and when I put it in drive the dash board warning ⚠️ transmission overheating pull over safety and I had it repaired two times the first time I had an issue with the transmission the car wouldn't move at all when put the vehicle in drive.

Ended up taking the vehicle on 05/17/19 for an oil change and diagnostic due to the check engine came on and vehicle was taken to pep boys and was there all weekend.

On 10/27/2018 approximately 1330 after making a right turn onto 29 in warrenton headed towards culpeper going about 45mph the car sputtered and stalled. Took 3 times to get the vehicle restarted. Then did it again after making a left onto 17 in bealeton.

When I drive my "brand new" 2016 ford focus that only has 11k miles on it, the transmission slips, stalls, and shutters. It's a road hazard because when I accelerate the car doesn't have power to accelerate with up coming traffic on the road, especially the highway. I was told that the car I was buying had 83,000 miles on it. When I stepped into the car however, the odometer said that the car had 108,000 miles on it. When I asked for my money back, the used car dealership refused to refund me and told me that they don't do refunds.

A week after purchasing a pre-owned 2016 Ford Focus SE Hatchback, the Malfunction Indicator Light came on with Primary Code P144A (EVAP Emission System Purge Vapor Line Restricted/Blocked). I paid $671.39 to have the canister purge valve replaced but subsequently learned that the part was part of NHTSA Recall 18V-735.

When we receive heavy rain the right side of my sunroof and the passenger plastic roof trim are leaking major amounts of water into my car. I had a puddle about 3 inches deep in my front passenger floor and a puddle of water in the rear passenger floor boards as well. When researching the issue it's clear numerous ford focus owners are having the same issue with no fix from ford.

On july 2, 2019, I was told I needed another clutch, waited all day for the dealership to find a part, only to be told the next day that I didn't need a new clutch. However, my car is still making the rattling noise that has LED to my clutch being replaced the other two times.

Second time in only two years that the clutches have gone bad. They cause extreme studdering to the vehicle upon acceleration. It has caused some extremely close calls where cars think I am moving forward but the car shudders preventing forward motion for a few seconds.

On three separate occasions(today being most recent) when using cruise control while in motion on a state highway and traveling 60 MPH, the vehicle on its own began accelerating without the driver using the acceleration button on the cruise control or pressing down with right foot on the accelerator pedal.
