Your 2022 Ford Edge has stalled out multiple times despite several dealership visits. The dealership has replaced the battery and fuel pump twice, but hasn't been able to solve the stalling problem. This creates a safety hazard while driving. The fix will likely require diagnostic testing to identify the root cause of the stalling, which could involve the fuel system, electrical system, engine controls, or other components.

While driving, you heard a loud popping sound and glass scattered inside your vehicle—your sunroof glass had suddenly shattered and blown out. This type of failure is sometimes called an exploding sunroof. Repair will likely require a full sunroof replacement or glass panel repair.

Your rearview camera is not functioning. This means you won't be able to see the display when you put the vehicle in reverse, which could impact your ability to back up safely. Getting this fixed will likely involve diagnosing whether the camera itself, the wiring, or the display unit needs repair or replacement.

Has happened on about 3 or 4 occasions that as I am driving it will get a buzzer sounding and red light on dashboard indicating collision is about to happen although there is no other cars or obstacles in the roadway
Was driving about 30 miles a hour and there were no other cars on the road and there were no obstacles in the road and tbe forward collision warning alert started flashing and dinging on the dashboard. There was absolutely no reason it should have gone off this is about the 4th time it has randomly done this now and it’s a bit concerning
I wanted to report that on this vehicle Ford has a very unsafe and hazardous horn. I just purchased the car and had to use the horn for the first time yesterday to avoid a car hitting me. I avoided an accident but the other driver said they did not hear my horn. The horn sound is not loud at all and i thought it was defective. I had others listen to it and they all were amazed at how ineffective the volume was. I did some research on line and found i am not the only one that complained about this to Ford. Apparently Ford changed the horn assembly in sometime after 2017 on the Ford Edge to save money. Apparently there is no federal standard for horn decibel levels on automobiles. I travel with small grandchildren in this car and feel this makes it unsafe, as many, many others do after researching this. It is a disaster just waiting to happen. Can you confirm that there are no regulations for automobile horns other than that they work? I just wanted to bring this up as it is dangerous to drove a vehicle like this. Interested in knowing if you have received any other complaints. Most of the research i have done shows owners actually having the horn assembly removed and replaced with one that actually works correctly at their own expense. Seems Ford should be held accountable for this defect. Seems the opted for profit over safety here. Thanks.

The display tablet will randomly stop working and just display a white screen and doesnt work for a few minutes. This started happening after the update ford recently did to fix the back up camera issue.
While driving around a curve the tire locked up and I was unable to turn and we ended up in the ditch. There was no collision. Myself and my child could have been seriously injured in this accident. 6 airbags deployed. Apon inspection the fender liner appears to have ripped off the back of the fender well and lodged into the top of the tire and the top front of the wheel well. Pheonix collision had to cut the liner from the car in order to release the tire. The police believed the accident was cause by the wheel well liner as well as pheonix collision. Vehicle was inspected on the scene by the springfield police. Vehicle was also inspected by Pheonix collision in springfield Illinois. There were no warning lights, messages or other symptoms before the accident. Due to this accident my car has almost $19,000 in damages. The passenger side of the vehicle has a few dents from going in the ditch and the front grill had a few broken pieces. There is no damage to the driver side of the vehicle where the felt liner locked up the tire. I have seen numerous people complain how the liner sags down or tears. I didn't notice the liner hanging down or any damage to the liner prior to the accident.
My back up camera is distorted not working correctly
Occasionally the trunk will close automatically on its own. You can be standing under the trunk (e.g. putting groceries away) and the trunk will close without anyone pushing the button to close it. Many individuals have reported similar issues for various vehicles.
Rear power lift-gate sensor activates and causes lift-gate to close while reaching into of out of vehicle. Has occurred 20 + times.
Unintended Hands-Free Liftgate Activation: When standing next to or loading items into the rear cargo area the lift gate will begin to close on its own. On two occassions I have been hit on the head and also on my shoulder. No injuries were incurred. This is a random occurance. The issue has been reported to the Ford delership, McDonald Ford in Freeland MI, on several occasions. The most recent being April 13, 2023. The service advisor presented me with a Ford bulletin, SSM 51360, which states "This is a normal condition and repairs are not necessary." I feel that this is a safety issue, especially for seniors who may not be able to react as quickly as I did in order to avoid injury.
Panoramic sunroof exploded while driving on the highway. No overpass or rock just exploded while driving.
liftgate foot sensor automatically closes when loading goods into rear compartment . comes down without warning and hits your head or back
The hands-free power lift gate was inadvertently activated while I was placing items into the back of the vehicle, and hit me in the back, and the back of my head. This happened three times. The dealer told me that Ford relocated the foot sensor farther towards the back of the vehicle following consumer complaints that it was too hard to active with your foot, as you had to extend your foot too far under the vehicle. This has now caused the lift gate to descend while you are loading/unloading cargo, without you intentionally activating it. This can pose an injury danger when the lift gate hits your back and/or head suddenly. The dealer deactivate the sensor for me, but Ford would not pay to have this done. The dealer did not charge me, and considered it a courtesy. This is an engineering fault that should be corrected by Ford before unsuspecting users are injured when the lift gate suddenly, and unexpectedly, closed down on them. I found Ford's attitude towards the dealer was arrogant. Apparently they are unconcerned about user injury.
