THE REAR WIPER OF MY 2012 DODGE GRAND CARAVAN RANDOMALLY STOPPED WORKING. AFTER BEING CHARGED $140 LABOR FEE TO TRACK DOWN THE ISSUE, THE DEALERSHIP TOLD ME THE TIPM IS DEFECTIVE AND NOT POWERING THE WIPER. IT WILL CODE $1300 TO REPLACE THIS UNIT, WHICH IS CONVENIENTLY NOT COVERED UNDER WARRANTY OR EXTENDED WARRANTY.

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2012 DODGE GRAND CARAVAN. THE CONTACT STATED THAT BOTH THE FRONT DRIVER'S AND PASSENGER'S SIDE WINDOW GLASSES OPENED AUTOMATICALLY WITHOUT WARNING. THE WINDOWS FAILED TO CLOSE. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED THAT THE WINDOW REGULATOR NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE CONTACT ATTEMPTED TO RELEASE THE FRONT DRIVER SIDE POWER WINDOW IN AN UPWARD POSITION; HOWEVER, THE GLASS RELEASED DOWNWARD INSIDE THE DOOR PANEL AND MADE A LOUD POP SOUND.
