2019 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 Suspension Problems

Engine misfires, cam and lifters failed suddenly. While driving

Currently own a 2019 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 Texas Edition Z-71. Transmission continues to hard shift / lunge in forward and reverse. The transmission has popped so hard, on multiple occasions that I was convinced that someone had hit me from behind and had to pull over.

The contact owns a 2019 Chevrolet Silverado 1500. The contact stated while driving 55 MPH, the upper control arm and the ball joint detached from the passage side tire. The contact stated no warning light was illuminated.

While driving my vehicle down a residential street around 25 MPH my steering suddenly pulled to the right. Causing me to strike a parked car. This happened on4/10/21.

Your truck is losing oil faster than normal, a problem that started in September 2023 and continues today even after the engine was replaced in 2025. The transmission failed about 3-4 months after the engine replacement and was also replaced. You're only alerted when the oil level gets critically low, and the leaking oil is mixing with gasoline, suggesting a fuel pump issue that now needs replacement. The Wheel Bearing Bolts came loose and began to fall out. One rubbed against the clamp for the axle boot. The driver was alerted to an issue due to a whining noise from the wheel.

On my 2019-Chevrolet Silverado 1500, the ball joint in the front upper control arm broke and caused the wheel to separate from the truck while driving. The truck is available for inspection where I had to have it towed to the dealership repair center.

The front driver side upper ball joint broke. I was going down the highway at 70 miles an hour, pulling a trailer when it broke, I was lucky to keep it on the road. It ruined the rim,tire,brake lines and CV boot.

I bought a this car and the car started giving me issues, Engine wasn’t working properly, brakes were not working well, they gave me problem even I thought maybe the need to be changed, the suspension was off in a way that I feel uncomfortable driving the car and besides that, has electrical problems sometimes the radio and the panel went off out of nowhere and the car just have 40,000 miles.

The sway bar detached from the frame running down the road due to a faulty installation completed by the production line. My wife heard a clunking sound and recognized instability in the vehicle during turns she immediately stopped driving it until it could be evaluated. Apparently during manufacture the mounting holes for the sway bar were threaded too big for the bolts used so they installed helicoil repairs into the frame which failed allowing the sway bar to detach. I have pictures from the dealership showing the failure and chevy is trying to weld a nut into the frame to be able to reattach the assembly at my expense.

While driving within the neighborhood, the upper control arm ball joint failed and the wheel folded under. After some research, it appears that this truck purchased new from the dealership where it was upfitted with a suspension leveling accessory as shown in the photo. It should have been included in NHTSA Recall 21V-718 as it clearly is premature failure of the OEM upper control arm ball joint due to the dealer installed Suspension Level Kit. Vehicle was purchased new at Vaden Chevrolet in Pooler GA.

Loud clunking nosies from front of vehicles, loud grinding/creaking. Truck keeps getting misaligned.

Chirping sound coming left axle, also the transmission shifts hard and shutters down shifts hard up shifts when I put into drive it goes in hard at idle as of Monday November 22,2021 found puddle of transmission fluid on driveway, transmission is sealed can not check.told service tech about the transmission told me it was normal tired of dealing with service techs that lie to customers and that they know more than customers maybe some but not all some customer know more than they do, been building cars since I was 16, hot Rodder from way back.also have 2013 Buick LaCrosse 83,000 miles it has its 4th set of tires!!!?

My truck has a vibration when going down the highway at speeds of 70 MPH. The dealer has done a transmission flush but still have the same issue. I am afraid that the driveshaft or the transmission may lock up while we are on the highway with the family.

check engine light came on and is currently pulling the following codes. P25A2 U0146 U0101 U0100 MIL Status- off Freeze frame DTC- u0146 I had an oil change done by Hare Chevy in Noblesville 2 weeks ago, never an issue with my truck until after I left the dealership.

I originally bought a new 2019 chevrolet silverado 1500 ld on 06/08/2019, I really liked the truck and its many features. After several weeks I noticed the whole underside frame and driveline components were rusted and corroded. I brought it back to my dealer and they immediately located a replacement vehicle for me.

I was backing into a parking space at a very low speed, when the right side lower balljoint separated and dropped the truck on the ground. The vehicle was rented from enterprise and had only 9000 miles. I had just finished a 10 hour interstate drive and was lucky it didn't separate at 70 miles per hour.
