While your parked 2025 BMW X1 was unoccupied, a fire started on the front passenger side of the engine hood and spread to engulf the entire vehicle within minutes. Fire officials believe the fire originated in the front passenger brake system. The vehicle was a total loss and had only about 1,000 miles on it. This issue requires immediate investigation into potential brake fluid leaks, damaged brake lines, or faulty brake components that may have caused overheating or ignition.
