Your 2024 Volkswagen Taos may experience a complete loss of engine responsiveness when accelerating from a stop, with warning messages appearing on the dashboard. This happened twice — once requiring bystanders to push the vehicle out of traffic, and again at a red light on an interstate. The dealer diagnosed low fuel rail system pressure and replaced the fuel pump and gasket to fix the problem.
