Owner Complaints (1)
After your Passat had recall work done on the fuel pump control module, your car started shutting off while sitting idle and displayed a low fuel pressure warning code (P0087). Your vehicle stalled unexpectedly multiple times, including once at 4 a.m. in the middle of a city street, leaving you stranded without warning. The dealer refused to fix it under the recall and charged you $220, even though their own technician found the same fault code that points to the recalled fuel pump control module. A fuel pump replacement or fuel system pressure diagnostic may be needed to resolve the stalling issue.
