Your truck's wheels lock up when turning corners, making it feel like you're on ice and losing control of the vehicle. This only happens during curves and creates a serious safety risk if oncoming traffic is present. The issue may involve the steering or suspension system and will likely require a full inspection and possible repair of steering components or wheel bearings.

Your vehicle's front suspension, frame, and steering components have excessive rust and corrosion that's preventing a proper front-end alignment, even though your car is from Southern California where roads aren't salted. Your dealer identified the rust during a routine service and confirmed it's too severe to safely align, and a tire shop independently verified the excessive corrosion. The rust is preventing normal maintenance work and may require replacement of corroded suspension and steering parts rather than just an alignment.

Your horn honks unexpectedly when you turn the steering wheel left or right, but won't honk when the wheel is straight. This is caused by a faulty spiral cable (a coil of wires) in your steering wheel that needs to be replaced. Your dealer can replace this part to fix the issue.

While driving on the freeway, the steering wheel began to shake vigorously, then the right front wheel came completely off the truck. The ball joints snapped off causing a wreck. My truck slid into the side of a big rig. Luckily nobody was hurt, but the failed ball joints were the cause of the accident in my opinion. I also have the dash cam video from the big rig.
