When you folded up and then unfolded your third-row passenger seat, internal parts (a spring, washer, and screw) fell out and the seat's locking mechanism no longer secures the seat to the vehicle. You're concerned about safety since the seat isn't properly fastened. The fix will likely involve inspecting and reassembling the seat's locking mechanism components, possibly replacing worn or damaged parts.

THERE IS A RATTLING THAT COMES FROM THE 2ND ROW SEATS. IT IS LOUD AND DRIVING ME CRAZY. I SEE HUNDREDS OF COMPLAINTS ON TOYOTA FORUMS BUT TOYOTA WILL NOT ACKNOWLEDGE THE ISSUE, SOUNDS LIKE I AM DRIVING A CLUNKER INSTEAD OF A $35,000 CAR. I PURCHASED NEW AND THIS HAS BEEN GOING ON FOR SEVEAL YEARS
