Your air intake pump or valves have failed for the second time in 4 years, triggering a check engine light and causing your vehicle's power to drop to 50% when driving. Toyota's extended warranty covered the first repair but won't cover this second failure because you've exceeded 150,000 miles and their policy only covers one repair unless it fails again within a year. The repair costs over $2,000 and the owner believes this is a recurring design flaw rather than a permanent fix.
