Your son's seat belt became caught in the seat belt holder. When you pulled it out, the seat belt frayed and is no longer safe to use. A frayed seat belt may not properly restrain a passenger in an accident.

Your rental car's center rear seat belt is stuck and won't loosen, making it impossible for a passenger to sit in the middle of the back seat safely. The shoulder strap appears to be locked in place and won't release even with moderate pulling. Additionally, the rear cargo cover was installed incorrectly and won't slide into its securing slots properly. Both issues appear to be dealer preparation errors that need to be corrected.
