You hear a knocking noise in your steering wheel when making slow turns, like at intersections. This problem has been getting worse since you bought the car in 2008, and a Toyota dealer says it's a safety issue where the steering could fail without warning. Toyota has technical service bulletins on how to fix it, but they won't cover the $2,800 repair cost under warranty.
