Your transmission may slip and hold high RPM, causing jerky shifts when accelerating or changing gears. Additionally, your back seat may not lock securely at times, and your infotainment system may freeze or become unresponsive. These issues will likely require transmission fluid service or internal transmission repair, seat latch inspection, and infotainment system software updates or replacement.

Your car produces a strong, low-frequency booming sound when driving over rough or uneven roads, which causes pressure changes in your ears and can lead to headaches and ear pain. This discomfort may force you to pull over frequently to recover. The issue appears to affect other owners as well, but Toyota has not yet acknowledged or resolved it. A fix would likely involve identifying and dampening the resonance source, which may require suspension modifications, structural reinforcement, or sound-dampening materials.
