Your headlight sensors are triggering false warning messages, even though the headlights themselves are working fine. This causes your dashboard to display headlight failure alerts that aren't accurate. The fix will likely involve diagnosing and replacing the faulty headlight sensor or recalibrating the headlight control module.

I think headlights are really dim in night driving. On the flat road it’s okay but on the curvy and hilly turns you barely can see anything. It is either dim or the headlights are aim too low . you can’t see the road clearly and farther.

My car's headlights are manufactured improperly so that the driver's side is far more illuminated than the passenger side. To be more clear, the cone of which the headlight service, around 10 to 15 degrees near the edge is not similar in brightness. If an animal or a person were to cross in front of my vehicle from the right. I would be less aware of them than I would on the left. This would put me and others at greater risk of an incident occurring. I have also looked on forums to see if others were having to same issues, and I have found that a large number of people are experiencing the same problem. I also took my car to the Santa Maria Toyota service center to have this issue fixed. They stated that the headlights can not be replaced or positioned to fix the problem. They stated that the headlight can only be positioned up and down. They are not able to be moved light or right. I also have documentation stating that they compared my car headlights to another car, that is the same year and model, with the same problem. I add this document as well.

Low beam illumination is not sufficient. Attached picture shows someone holding a measuring tape disappears completely in the dark around 76 feet from the car.

The low beams on my car cast to shadows beyond the visible lighted area of the beams but beyond the shadows is dark , no penetration through the shadows restricting my view down the road and I have to switch to high beams to actually see down the road. I've been driving cars for 72 years and I have never had this problem. I love the car but hate driving it at night ! I've reported this to m dealer but my results were that the problem was only my opinion. I paid 27,000 dollars for the car and that kind of service stinks. Need help !
