Your car is hesitating and feeling sluggish when you accelerate, and the check engine light has come on. The diagnostic code indicates the fuel pressure in your system is running too low, which has put your car into limp mode (reduced power). Even though your vehicle isn't part of the official fuel pump recall, you're experiencing this problem and may face a costly repair.

Your car is losing power and stalling while you're driving, and this has happened multiple times. A dealer diagnosed this as a faulty fuel pump, but your vehicle isn't on the recall list even though other 2020 Camrys with the same issue aren't either. The repair will likely involve replacing the fuel pump to restore normal engine power and prevent stalling.

engine coolant bypass valve 'a' control circuit/open: circuit short to battery or open I honestly feel like this is not safe. If you’re driving your engine could possibly overheat or it can crack the engine block and several different others I’m not a familiar mechanic this code just popped up My car is running a bit funny I would say that’s what made me do the scan in the first place Nobody has looked at it. I used a code scanner. I cleared the code and then I re-scanned it, and it was still there. Just for a future note, this is for a 2020 Toyota Corolla at 141,000 miles I have seen where the Toyota Corolla is having the same issue several different people at that so I do think they need to have a open investigation about this issue because it is an outgoing issue

the vehicle will randomly shut down and it is due to the fuel pump or fuel pump sensor being faulty. It will shut down in the middle of driving which is a hazard and can lead to a car crash

On December 31, 2001, I was driving 2020 Toyota Camry LE at 20mph and the engine stalled. I kept pressing the gas but my vehicle wouldn't go. The check engine light was also on so we took it to a local shop where they mentioned the Toyota fuel pump recall. We then took it to a local Toyota dealer where they said my specific Camry was not included in the recall and I had to pay $1, 655.69 for a new fuel pump to be installed. My car exhibited the same systems as described in the fuel pump recall therefore I believe my car should be included in the recall and I should be reimbursed.

Having same issue as NHTSA Campaign ID: 20V682000 Fuel pump fails, the engine can stall while driving, increasing the risk of a crash. Dealer won't fix because they can't get it to duplicate issue. Multiple codes showing fuel pump P12B501, P107B.

The high pressure fuel pump line suddenly ruptured at the high pressure fuel pump. This happened without warning and spewed fuel all over the engine compartment and onto the exhaust system that comes out just below the engine. It started a small fire on the engine exhaust pipe as I hurried to a mechanic across the intersection. Luckily I was able to turn off the car and avoid damage. The repair required a new high-pressure fuel pump as well as a line that runs into the pump. I kept the original parts - the mechanics state that the replacement fuel line was different than the one removed from the vehicle in the shape of the line connector to the fuel pump. I was told by Toyota that my car was NOT under recall despite there being fuel pump recalls for similar vehicles.

Car is just above 36 k and gave me engine light on not wanting to turn the engine on . I called a mechanic to stop by and maybe reset the computer …so much I know(the dash board was giving me a hybrid system failure) but the reader said its fuel pump control circuit low ,witch on the other hand is not allowing the car to start of and somehow related to the vehicle stability module and break system not mentioning a solenoid problem as well…

I purchased this vehicle on 01/12/2021 from Toyota of Greenville, SC. I was initially told that the vehicle was a Certified Pre-Owned Toyota, which means it went through an intensive reconditioning process and passed all certification requirements. As I was signing the papers to purchase the car, I was told that it could not be sold as a Certified vehicle because it has the open manufacturer recall #20TA02. It has been almost 9 months and I have not received any notice of a pending fix for this potentially deadly recall, summarized below. SUMMARY: The subject vehicles are equipped with a low-pressure fuel pump which may stop operating. If this were to occur, warning lights and messages may be displayed on the instrument panel, and the engine may run rough. This may result in a vehicle stall, and the vehicle may be unable to be restarted. SAFETY RISK: If a vehicle stall occurs while driving at higher speeds, this could increase the risk of a crash. REMEDY: Any authorized Toyota dealer will replace the low-pressure fuel pump with an improved one FREE OF CHARGE. I am hesitant to take the vehicle on a long trip or take it on the highway. I do not want to be stranded during my trip or die if the fuel pump shuts off at high speed. I have been purchasing Toyota products since 2000. I am feeling very abused and and neglected buy what I thought was a safe and reliable brand. I will be in the market for another vehicle soon. Now, I am not sure Toyota is the only brand to consider. Please let them know that I am not a happy customer because of this ongoing problem with their Number 1 Selling vehicle. TOYOTA ADVERTISES AND REPRESENTS THAT THE 2020 CAMRY SE FUEL TANK CAPACITY IS 16 GALLONS, AND BASED ON ITS 28CITY/39HWY MPG RATING, THE CAMRY'S RANGE SHOULD BE 448/624 MILES. HOWEVER, MY CAR ON A FULL TANK REPORTS 385 MILES TO EMPTY. TOYOTA RAN TESTS AND STATED I GET 30MPG. IF THIS IS TRUE MY GAS TANK IS ONLY SUPPORTING ABOUT 13 GALLONS OF GAS. TOYOTA HAS ALREADY IDENTIFIED THIS AS AN ISSUE IN THEIR 2019/2020 HYBRID MODELS.
