Your 4Runner's rear sway bar broke off while driving on the highway, causing the vehicle to sway noticeably during acceleration and deceleration. The owner discovered extensive rust deterioration on the frame that the Toyota dealership never mentioned during numerous service visits. The frame rust may now be too severe to repair, creating a potential loss-of-vehicle control issue on highways.
