Water is repeatedly leaking into your truck's electrical systems through clogged cowl drains near the windshield wipers, causing corrosion that has knocked out critical safety and control systems multiple times. Over the past few years, this water damage has fried your engine control module, HVAC system, and airbag/ABS modules, leaving you without dashboard gauges and brake safety systems during rainy driving conditions. The dealer has replaced some components but the root cause—clogged drainage—keeps allowing water back in. A permanent fix will likely require sealing the firewall/wiper cowl area and ensuring proper drainage to prevent future water intrusion.

Your cruise control stopped working while driving at 45 mph and wouldn't turn back on. This happened multiple times, and your dashboard showed an "Electronic Stability Control System Malfunctioning" message, even though no warning light appeared. The dealer couldn't figure out what was causing it. There may be a recall for your vehicle, but you haven't been able to confirm it applies to your VIN.

P2609 code. Grid Heater Relay. A P2609 code indicates an issue with the intake air heater system voltage or performance and often means the grid heater bolt is failing and has lost its ability to conduct current. There is currently a recall for 2021-2023 models; NHTSA campaign number 23V060000 for the same issue. My truck has 50,972 miles on it.
Poor throttle respond when doing lane change, really really poor throttle respond, especially when doing lane change the throttle supper slow respond can causing a rear end from the safe on incoming lane changed distance to unsafe distance after the lane changed, this seriously can causing the crash by the rear end from the vehicle on the back. It also happened when merge into freeway when throttle is very important for driver to adjust the speed to make vehicle merge into the traffic smoothly. Reported to dealer service manager everytime drop vehicle for servicing but CAN NOT fix the issue. This happened when the dealer upgraded new calibration for power train by other recall. But before power train upgraded my vehicle dont have this poor throttle respond issue at all.
When truck is in cruise control on with driver assist on, if I run off side of road and go over the ridges on the side that alert driver my ABS light comes on saying my driver assist and my cruise control can no longer be used and my ABS breaking system requires a mechanic. If I reset my system all goes back to normal till I go over rough road or ridges. I have less than 10,000 miles on truck. From what I hear from other Dodge owners this is a common occurrence. This has happened on three different occasions.
The contact owns a 2019 Ram 3500. The contact stated that on various occasions and while driving at various speeds with a trailer attached, the brake pedal was depressed; however, the trailer brakes failed to respond. No warning lights were illuminated. The vehicle was taken to two independent mechanics, where the failures could not be duplicated. The failure recurred. The vehicle was taken to a local dealer, where it was diagnosed that the electronic trailer brake controller needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure and a case was opened. The approximate failure mileage was 20,000.
I had a parasitic draw on my battery that became progressively worse to the point that a jump no longer worked to start the vehicle. I bought a brand new battery and it was completely dead within 24 hours even though I had only driven the vehicle about 5 miles and had the vehicle off for over 23 of these hours. I replaced the battery again and left the vehicle running while loading for a trip and 30 minutes later the battery started to release smoke from overheating. Wires and plastics around the battery were starting to melt so I completely disconnected the battery. This 2nd new battery was also dead within 24 hours of purchase. I took the vehicle to a Ram Dealership and after a lot of testing over multiple days they identified the problem as a parasitic draw from the ABS module. Please note the parasitic draw occurred whether or not the vehicle was turned on. After the dealership changed the ABS module and both batteries the vehicle has been operating ok although I still receive low battery power notices which restricts certain vehicle functions every few days. I have to turn the engine off and on to reset the error.

AS OF TODAY I KEEP CALLING CUSTOMER SERVICE ONCE IN 2 DAYS, THEY KEEP ISSUING NEW CASE ID'S BECAUSE OLD ONCE ARE INCORRECT, AND KEEP TELLING ME WILL CALL YOU IN 1-2 DAYS. NOBODY FROM RAM CALLED SO FAR. DEALER SAID: FUEL POMP FAILED AND THEY'LL GET THE PARTS IN NOVEMBER, (AUGUST 21 NOW) AND I CAN'T TELL THEM ANYTHING CAUSE THEY WILL FIX ME EVEN TOMORROW IF WOULD HAVE PARTS FROM RAM QUESTION: WHY A BRAND NEW RAM HAS TO SIT 3 MONTH IN DEALERS SHOP, WHO IS GOING TO COVER THE PAYMENTS AND WHY I KEEP GETTING PROMISES THAT SOMEBODY WILL CALL?
