Just got the car from someone, and the air bag light comes up and stays on all the time the engine starts, trying all the ways to reset the light and not working, I found online that many same car owners has the same problem and there is no recall from the manufacturer, Nissan cars has a lot of air bags problems., my car has no collision and has only 62000 miles. Going to a dealer to ask about the price to fix and was told about more than a thousand dollars and not guaranteered'
LOST CONSCIOUSNESS DUE TO PREVIOUSLY UNDIAGNOSED MEDICAL ISSUE, CAR WAS IN 2ND GEAR AND HIT TELEPHONE POLE. CAR WAS TOTALED AND I WAS INJURED FROM THE IMPACT, AIRBAGS DID NOT DEPLOY. I WAS PRESUMABLY GOING AS FAST AS POSSIBLE IN 2ND GEAR AS MY FOOT WAS ON THE PEDAL WHEN I LOST CONSCIOUSNESS.
MY CAR WAS IN PARK , WHEN I GOT IN AND SHUT DRIVER'S DOOR THE AIRBAGS EXPLODED HURTING MY EYES AND NECK. STILL DEALING WITH NISSAN FOR 18 MONTHS AND STILL NOT EVEN LOOKED AT
I WAS HIT FROM BEHIND IN A CRASH AND WAS KNOCKED INTO A CAR IN FRONT OF ME. SUFFERED MILD HEAD INJURY. NONE OF THE AIR BAGS DEPLOYED. THE INJURY COULD HAVE BEEN WORST. *JB
HAVE BEEN TO CLASSIC NISSAN IN STATESVILLE NC 4 TIMES FOR AIR BAGS, HAVE CHANGED 1 ON LEFT SIDE. HAS NOW COME BACK ON AND THE DEALS SAYS THEY HAVE TO SEE LIGHT ON. NISSAN SAYS THEY ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE AND THEY DID NOT KNOW THE CAR AIRBAGS WAS UNDER RECALL WHEN THEY SOLD CAR, EVEN THOUGH I ASK THE SALES WOMEN. MOVING IN PARKING IT DOES NOT MATTER THE LIGHT BLINKS ON AND OFF, HAVE VIDEO OF IT. HAVE PAPER FROM GETTING FIX.

TAKATA RECALL. I WAS TRAVELING ON US 77 IN VIRGINA WHEN THE TRAFFIC CAN TO A STOP DUE TO A MERGING ARROW. I MERGED AND STOP. I WAS REAR ENDED BY THE CAR BEHIND ME AS IT DID NOT STOP. MY CAR HIT THE CAR IN FRONT OF ME AND THEN ROLLED OVER. THE AIR BAGS DID NOT DEPLOY ANYWHERE IN THE CAR. I BELIEVE THE DRIVER'S AIR BAG SHOULD HAVE BEEN ENABLED AFTER HITTING THE CAR IN FRONT OF ME. AIR BAG FAILED TO DEPLOY DURING HEAD ON COLLISION DRIVING ABOUT 70MPH ON THE 1604 HWY ANIMAL RAN ACROSS I SWERVED OUT OF THE WAY TO AVOID HITTING IT BUT LOST CONTROL ON THE GRASS AND WENT HEAD ON INTO A POLE AS I TRIED TO STEER THE CAR FROM HITTING I SPINNED OUT OF CONTROL AFTER THE IMPACT THEN LANDED ON THE ACCESS ROAD. FRONT OF VEHICLE GOT PUSHED IN BUT NOT ONE AIR BAG DEPLOYED DURING THE WHOLE INCIDENT NISSANS EXCUSE IS I DIDN'T HIT THE CAR CORRECTLY WHICH I'M NOT QUITE SURE WHAT WOULD BE THE CORRECT WAY TO CRASH A VEHICLE FOR FUTURE REFERENCE.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2016 NISSAN VERSA. WHILE DRIVING 25 MPH, THE CONTACT CRASHED INTO A VEHICLE THAT RAN THROUGH A RED LIGHT. THE AIR BAGS FAILED TO DEPLOY. THERE WERE NO INJURIES AND A POLICE REPORT WAS FILED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT DIAGNOSED OR REPAIRED. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE VEHICLE WOULD BE TOWED AT A LATER DATE BY THE INSURANCE COMPANY. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 3,649.
NISSAN VERSA, ALWAYS HAD ISSUES WITH GAS GAUGE FLUCTUATING. IGAUGE READ 79 MILES IN DRIVEWAY, I PULLED OUT OF DRIVEWAY INTO MAIN ROAD AND WENT ABOUT 25 FEET, HAS GAUGE STARTED FLASHING. TOLD GRANDSON I HAD TO GO TO GAS STATION BEFORE TAKING HIM TO SCHOOL. WE DROVE ABOUT 1/4 MILE AND HEARD POP UNDER HOOD, CAR JERKED REALLY HARD TO RIGHT. I HAD NO CONTROL AND HIT MAIL BOX, CAR KEPT MOVING FORWARD ALONG DITCH. FINALLY COME TO STOP WITH WINDSHIELD BUSTED AND FRONT BUMPER AND UNDERCARRIAGE BADLEY DAMAGED. AIR BAGS DIDN'T DEPLOY, POLICE WERE CALLED AND CAR WAS TOWED.
DRIVING ON A TWO LANE ROAD HEARD A POP, CAR SUDDEN PULL RIGHT FRONT END HITTING A DITCH ON THE SIDE OF ROAD FRONT END SLIDING DOWN IN THE DITCH COMING TO A STOP IN A VERTICAL POSITION. THE AIR BAG DIDN'T DEPLOY.
ON 7/13/2016----- MY PASSENGER AND I WERE TRAVELING ON CLEMSON ROAD WHERE THE POSTED SPEED LIMIT IS 45 MPH, ITS A FOUR LANE HIGHWAY WITH NO MEDIAN. A TRUCK DID A U TURN IN FRONT OF A LOT OF TRAFFIC MY VEHICLE STRUCK HIS AT ABOUT 40-43 MPH THOUGH ME AND MY PASSENGER HAD SEAT BELTS ON MY PASSENGER STILL MANAGED TO HIT HIS HEAD ON THE WINDSHIELD THROUGH THE AIRBAG. MY PASSENGER WAS 5'2 135 POUNDS SO THE SEAT BELT DID FIT PROPERLY AND WAS ALSO BEING WORN PROPERLY, WITH THE LAP BAND SNUG AGAINST HIP ONE AND SHOULDER STRAP FULLY ACROSS CHEST AND LATCH BUCKLED. MY PASSENGER WAS TOOK TO THE HOSPITAL AND WAS EXAMINED FOR INJURIES THAT MAY HAVE OCCURRED FROM THE HEAD TRAUMA OF HITTING THE WIND SHIELD.. WHY DIDN'T THE PASSENGER SEAT BELT KEEP MY PASSENGER FROM HITTING THE WINDSHIELD??? I BELIEVE THAT THE SEAT BELT DIDN'T LOCK IN PLACE LIKE IT SHOULD HAVE ONCE THE BREAKS WERE PRESSED- MY PASSENGER KEPT TRAVELING FORWARD AS THE VEHICLE SLOWED DOWN. NOTE THAT MY PASSENGER WAS HOLDING HIS HEAD ONCE WE EXITED THE VEHICLE!
