Your vehicle suddenly loses power and won't accelerate normally, even when you press the gas pedal all the way to the floor. It took a quarter to a third of a mile to reach 40 mph, making it difficult to drive safely in traffic. The problem started intermittently but has become more severe. A repair will likely require diagnostics of the fuel system, engine sensors, and throttle controls to identify what's preventing proper acceleration.

Your car's forward collision avoidance system shuts off randomly, which immediately disables cruise control and collision avoidance braking. If you're using cruise control and approaching a slower vehicle, your car won't automatically slow down, forcing you to brake hard. This creates a safety risk since the collision avoidance feature isn't working when needed.

ABS Light comes on and stays on...Checking for recalls seeing if our vehicle could have same problem with brake fluid leaking on internal circuit board and possible fire danger. Also, several times our PATHFINDER will lose power or act as if you have shifted the transmission into neutral. This has happened at speeds from 30mph to 60 mph. Stalls and then after a few seconds it will resume speed.

THE CRUISE CONTROL IS VERY SLUGGISH. ONCE THE CRUISE CONTROL IS SET, IF YOU ARE TO STEP ON THE GAS TO GET AROUND A CAR QUICKER OR IF YOU PRESS THE CANCEL BUTTON, STEP ON THE GAS AND THEN RESUME, YOU HAVE TO TAKE YOUR FOOT OFF THE GAS AND LET YOUR SPEED SLOW DOWN 5 - 10 MPH UNDER WHAT YOU HAVE THE CRUISE SET FOR BEFORE IT WILL ENGAGE AGAIN. I HAVE BEEN ALMOST REAR-ENDED A FEW TIMES WHILE GETTING THE CRUISE TO ENGAGE AGAIN. NISSAN STATES THAT THAT IS THEY WAY THE CRUISE CONTROL IS DESIGNED. NISSAN'S SERVICE MANAGER HAD THIS SAME THING HAPPEN TO HIM IN ANOTHER NISSAN VEHICLE BUT NOT ALL NISSAN VEHICLES DO THIS
THE FRONT RADAR SAFETY FEATURE DEACTIVATES AND THE AMBER FRONT COLLISION WARNING LIGHT COMES ON. THE SPEED CONTROL FEATURE IS DISABLED WHEN THE RADAR IS NOT ACTIVE. WHEN THE SYSTEM FINALLY KICKS IN THE SPEED CONTROL SUDDENLY ACCELERATES WITHOUT WARNING. THE SUDDEN ON/OFF SCENARIO IS DANGEROUS AND WHAT WAS SUPPOSED TO BE A SAFETY FEATURE IS NOW ACTUALLY A HAZARD. A CAR SHOULD NOT UNEXPECTEDLY ACCELERATE TO THE SPEED CONTROL LIMIT 10-15 MINUTES AFTER IT WAS SET.
FRONT RADAR MODULAR INTERMITTENTLY UNAVAILABLE. ARTICLE FOUND STATING NISSAN WAS WORKING ON A FIX, IS IT AVAILABLE YET? 2 DEALERSHIP SERVICE DEPARTMENTS AND AN AGENT AT NISSAN USA KNEW NOTHING ABOUT IT. WHILE DRIVING WITH THE INTELLIGENT CRUISE CONTROL ON, SUDDENLY IT SHUTS OFF AND A MESSAGE ON SCREEN STATES, UNAVAILABLE FRONT RADAR OBSTRUCTION. 2-15 MINUTES LATER IT ALLOWS START UP AGAIN. THIS SEEMS TO BE TOTALLY RANDOM. HAPPENED NUMEROUS TIMES ON A 2500 MILE TRIP.
THE INTELLIGENT CRUSE CONTROL SYSTEM WORK INTERMINTENTLY. WHEN THIS HAPPENS THE SAFETY BRAKING SYSTEM DOES NOT WORK .
