When you pressed the brake pedal while approaching a red light at about 35 MPH, your Pathfinder accelerated instead of slowing down, causing it to run through the light. No warning lights appeared on your dashboard. You were able to coast to a stop and turn off the engine. After waiting 10 minutes and restarting, the problem didn't happen again when you took it to the dealer—the mechanic couldn't reproduce the issue. The dealer replaced your brakes and brake drums as a precaution.
