Since purchasing four new tires from Firestone in October 2023, you've experienced multiple flat tires—picking up nails and getting slashes—requiring repairs and replacements within nine months. You've had to patch three of the four tires, including a newly replaced tire that also picked up a nail shortly after installation, leaving you concerned the tires may be defective or used rather than new. A tire inspection or replacement under warranty may be needed to determine if the tires are faulty.

While driving at 65 mph, your Pathfinder started swaying side to side. A mechanic found that the front driver's side tire tread belt had shifted inside the tire, which was causing the swaying. The tire was replaced, but the problem came back intermittently. The issue started around 32,000 miles on that tire. Fixing this would involve replacing the affected tire with a new one, though you may want to investigate why the belt shifted in the first place.
