Your 2022 Kia Sportage caught fire while parked and turned off, with no warning lights, overheating, or external cause—the fire appears to have started in the engine or electrical area. The vehicle was destroyed in the fire, creating a serious safety hazard since it happened without any warning. The owner is requesting an investigation into potential electrical or engine defects that could cause fires in parked, off vehicles. This may require a full electrical system inspection and engine component evaluation to identify the fire source.

Your brake pedal suddenly became unresponsive while driving, with no pressure or warning lights appearing on the dashboard. Despite pressing hard multiple times, your vehicle would not slow down or stop, resulting in a crash into a guardrail where the airbags deployed. The brake system failure appears to have been sudden and complete rather than gradual.

The car turns off while driving. This is happened four times the first time. Kia told me in Berkeley nothing was wrong. The car started back up bring it back. If it happens again it happened again. They have had the car for over a month. The car will not start. It has not been looked at and told me that there’s other cars it’s been there for over a month. I wouldn’t be so mad my daughters on Chemo I have to have a car that’s reliable to get her there and a dealership that cares this is scary could’ve killed us.

Turned car off and went to restart with push button start vehicle just kept cranking for a min and wouldn’t start, stopped it and tried again after a min of cranking it started, went to drive had no pick up speed, ROM’s where all over the place. Transmission feels funny while driving like the car doesn’t want to go or shift gears. Electrical components in vehicle touch screen LCDscreen goes black and can’t get it to go back on, turn car off and still doesn’t come back on, forward collision goes off when nothing around and starts braking, warning light for back passenger tail light goes on and tail light works fine. Tried to get into the dealer but they have no loaner vehicles or appts for a couple weeks.
