Owner Complaints (1)
Your forward collision avoidance system reported blocked sensors while driving through snow and salt on the highway. Later, after the warning cleared, the system falsely detected obstacles (barriers or nearby vehicles) while you were entering curves and automatically braked hard — dropping your speed by about 20 mph in 30 seconds — even though nothing was actually in front of you. This could create a dangerous rear-end collision risk if traffic is following closely behind. The fix will likely involve cleaning or recalibrating the front-facing sensors, or a software update to improve how the system distinguishes between actual obstacles and road features.
