Your brake pedal is sticking and jamming, and your steering wheel has excessive looseness with a lot of play in it. A warning light with an exclamation point is flashing on your dashboard, and you're hearing electrical noises when you turn the car off. Your engine is consuming oil at about a pint per week, which is much faster than normal. The combination of these issues has resulted in the vehicle being towed twice in three weeks.

The contact owns a 2019 Kia Sportage. The contact stated while driving 45 MPH, the electrical and mechanical systems became inoperable. The headlights, signal, and hazard lights became inoperable. The contact pulled over, placed the vehicle in park, and turned the vehicle off. After restarting the vehicle, an abnormal ticking sound was coming from the vehicle. There were no warning lights illuminated. The vehicle was towed to the local dealer, where it was diagnosed that the radiator needed to be replaced and the tie rod had excessive play. The dealer denied repairing the vehicle due to sludge in the engine. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was notified, but no assistance was provided. The failure mileage was approximately 75,490.
