2018 jeep wrangler has the "death wobble." specifically, while driving above 50 MPH, the vehicle somewhat frequently hits a bump or crack in the road which causes the front suspension to violently shake and essentially lose control. The only cure for this "death wobble" problem is to slow down to below 20 MPH or more often slow down to a complete stop.

When looking at the vehicle on a car hoist, unsatisfactory welds on the chassis were identified. The welds occurred at various locations and included defects such as excessive porosity, excessive weld spatter, and off location of the original weld and touch up welds. I am not a certified weld inspector, however I am a state certified welder, and federally licensed aircraft mechanic.

Front track bar welds are of poor quality, porous, lack of penetration and not continuous as a weld should be. Welds apprear as unsafe welds for holding the track bar in place while driving the vehicle. All other welds on vehicle have rust showing on leading edges and also lack of penetration on welds thought out the weld bead.
