I was on the freeway and went into limp mode and almost got into a traffic accident. My ICCU unit failed after two recalls on it.

Drove less than one mile and the car suddenly dropped from 45 MPH to 20 and would not accelerate (I was almost rear ended by a bus). I was able to pull off the road and the battery died.

Car has suddenly lost power three times while driving at low speeds or while stopped (eg at a stop light). I have turned off the power (EV start button) and then turned it back on, and the car restarts and starts moving again. The sudden loss of power seems dangerous-- I am concerned that if someone is following close behind me, they will be unable to brake and I will be rear-ended.

Leaving an appt and the car gave a battery ! While is was looking for a place to pull over the Stop Check Vehicle Electric System. I pulled into a parking lot when the Turtle came up and I was barely able to back into a space.

Highway speed vibration of entire vehicle, particularly steering wheel and seats. This continues despite wheel balance, forced wheel balance and replacing all 4 tires. Multiple trips to dealer without improvement.

Vehicle suspension in the rear feels unsettled when coming to a stop using regenerative brakes. If you hit a small pothole or recessed manhole cover the rear of the vehicle feels like the rear suspension is jumping. I've taken it to the dealer and they noticed it and also it occurred on a new ioniq 5 they had on the lot also.

When my car is plugged in to charge it keeps stopping the charge. Example: Starts at 24% and stops at 28% I restart charge and it stops at 47%. Each time the charging port on the car is hot.

Intergrated Charging Control Unit has failed. This is a safety related issue because it’s failure can make the vehicle immediately inoperable which does not allow the driver any time to safely pull to the should have the roadway.

I plugged the car into our Juicebox charger and waited for the car to say “charging scheduled” before I walked away. My husband didn’t realize I plugged in and managed to back out of the garage, ripping the charger from the car. We need to buy a new charger now.

Hyundai Ioniq EV's have a continuing issue with a component called that "ICCU". The ICCU and high voltage fuse failed even after two recalls meant to monitor that problem and update the software. Luckily, mine failed in my driveway at home which did not put me in immediate risk.

The problem is in "1-pedal" mode (which Hyundai calls "I-pedal"). This is an extremely convenient mode of driving in normal operation, yielding very smooth, passenger-friendly (acceleration and) deceleration by avoiding use of the brake pedals altogether.
