Your horn keeps stopping working — it's happened at least five times since you bought the car in 2023. Before it fails completely, you'll notice the horn sound gradually getting quieter and cutting in and out over several days. When the horn doesn't work, you lose your ability to warn other drivers of hazards, which creates a serious safety risk on the road. The dealership has attempted multiple repairs but hasn't been able to permanently fix the problem.

Your horn stopped working for the third time on your 2023 Elantra, which put you at risk when another vehicle almost hit you. You've had to replace the horn multiple times at the dealership, and you've experienced the same recurring issue with your Hyundai Venue. The horn likely needs replacement again, and you believe Hyundai should issue a recall since multiple Elantra models share the same horn component.

Your vehicle's display screen randomly shuts off and turns back on while you're driving, and this has been happening intermittently for over 2 years since you bought the car in September 2023. Your dealership has inspected it but couldn't reproduce the problem during their check, and they said a software update isn't needed even though you've asked for one. The fix will likely involve a software update, checking the display unit's electrical connections, or replacing the display screen or its control module if the software doesn't resolve it.

Your car's horn stopped working at around 30,000 miles. The dealership repaired it, but the horn stopped working again at 70,000 miles. The repair may involve replacing the horn unit or checking the horn electrical circuit and wiring.

Both high and low horns failed and the vehicle has 61,000 miles. Hyundai said this is a “known issue” to the point that they keep these parts in stock and replace them regularly. This is a safety concern, and required for safety inspection.

Horn has stopped working. A driver was about to change lanes into my vehicle on the highway, and I went to honk my horn to alert them, but it would not work. It is unclear if the issue is with the sensor in the steering wheel, or with the wiring or horn itself. I have continued to test the horn over the next few days and confirmed that the issue is persistent. The lack of a horn meant I was nearly able to avoid an accident by swerving away from the other vehicle. If there had not been a gap in traffic, I wouldn't have been so lucky. The vehicle is available for inspection. I have an appointment with the dealer on Friday 1/3/25 to have this addressed, likely under warranty. No one else has inspected the vehicle at this time, and there are no warning notifications, etc.

The rear view backup camera doesn’t show. Some days it works most of the time it’s green and distorted. I know it’s common issue so it should be apart of the 21-22 Elantra recall

Horn just stopped working! Fuses are intact. I see this is a consistent complaint for this model. Cannot pass safety inspection and I’ve only had the car for a year

There was a recent over the air software update. Since the update, the speed limit shown on the dashboard, does not match the posted speed limit. This causes the cruise control to change from 70mph, to 55mph. This happened a few times, and always at the same place on the PA Turnpike. Yesterday it did it and there was a tractor trailer behind me. When my car started to decelerate, the driver of the truck laid on the horn because he had to react quickly. I am lucky that he did not hit the rear of my car. This is a safety issue! Also, why does Hyundai feel the need to control drivers speed, especially when there is no government mandate to do so.

My 2023 Hyundai Elantra has started alerting me while driving that I was going the wrong way down a road. The alert goes something like: WARNING Entering into wrong way detected. This occurs when I'm driving the correct direction. I've Googled the issue and other Hyundai owners have documented receiving the same message. I believe this is dangerous if one is driving someplace unfamiliar and receives this message. It has the potential to alarm a driver into making a U turn and traveling into oncoming traffic.

The vehicle's horn has completely stop working as of [XXX]. I took the vehicle to a toyota dealership because the Hyundai dealerships did not have any available appointments at the time. The Toyota dealership in Ardmore looked at the vehicle to see if there were any issues with fuses and wires. They were unable to find any issues. The dealership recommended I contact Hyundai. I then arranged for an appointment from Hyundai. Several days before the appointment, I was contacted by Conicelli Hyundai. They told me they are not taking any new bookings. I put a bad review on Conicelli's google review. I received a message from Conicelli's customer service department askimg me to call back. I called them back and was told that the service manager will call me back. The service manager called back and I explained that the horn is not working. The service manager told me that they just replaced a horn on someone elses car. He also related that the item is on back order. When I did some google searches for horn issues, I began to see that this is a national problem with their horn failures on various vehicles among different years. I have not driven the car since the horn failure. I believe the horn is on back order because Hyundai is having so many problems with their horn. My vehicle usually would turn on the warning light stating that the engine oil level is low when I accelerate. The last time I had an oil change, it would turn on when I accelerate my vehicle to merge on the highway. I have had my engine oil level sensor changed out in my vehicle by a Hyundai tech. Immediately after my sensor was changed and I merged on to the nearest highway, it went on again when I increased speed. My vehicle has been inspected by a Hyundai dealer but it could not be fixed. This does not happen when you are at a consistent speed but rather when the car needs to accelerate.

So far since owning this vehicle. I have gone through 7 OEM windshields. I had a 2010 Ford Focus, replaced it with the 2023 Elantra. In 13 years driving the same roads, and only replaced 5 windshields. The windshield thickness needs to be looked into, or what they are made of. Very small rocks are causing the damage, however, what would happen if a much larger rock hit the windshield?

My headlights severely fog up during night driving or during rain, damp weather, or after any contact with water. This is an extremely common problem with 2021-2023 Hyundai Elantra (all trim levels) and causes extreme low visibility at night. Another issue is the horn which is also extremely common on 2021-2023 Hyundai Elantra (all trim levels) and mine has gone out completely twice and been replaced twice. My headlights have been inspected with the issue replicated and was told that it will not require any work because it’s “normal to have fog inside headlights” and no warranty work will be done to fix this safety issue

When I try to accelerate its like it isn't getting gas or there's something preventing it from going. Once it stops struggling it takes off all at once. When it struggles you can feel the vehicle hesitate. It has less Than 5000 miles on it. There shouldn't be a single problem with jt n⁵.
