Owner Complaints (1)
Your car's front and rear suspension crossmembers have severely rusted through, with the rear crossmember failing so badly that your rear tires nearly fell off. The front crossmember has developed large rust holes near the lower control arms on both sides, making your car unsafe to drive. The owner believes Hyundai issued a recall for this same problem on 2003 Elantras but never extended it to the 2005 model year, despite using identical parts. Repairing this issue will require replacement of the front and rear suspension crossmembers.
