TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2011 HONDA PILOT. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE REAR AIR CONDITIONING SYSTEM (A/C) WOULD NOT SHUT OFF FROM THE FRONT CONTROL PANEL. THE CONTACT HAD TO REACH BEHIND HER AND FEEL AROUND THE CONSOLE TO SHUT OFF THE AIR CONDITIONER. IN ADDITION, THE CONTACT STATED THAT SPORADICALLY WHEN STARTING THE VEHICLE, THE REAR A/C WOULD ENGAGE INDEPENDENTLY BUT WOULD NOT REGISTER ON THE FRONT CONTROL PANEL. THE MANUFACTURER AND DEALER WERE BOTH CONTACTED WHO COULD NOT PROVIDE A RESOLUTION TO THE FAILURE. THE CONTACT HAD CONCERNS WITH HAVING TO REMOVE HER EYES FROM THE ROADWAY TO DISENGAGE THE REAR A/C SYSTEM. THE VIN WAS UNAVAILABLE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 1,000 AND THE CURRENT MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 10,600.
