SUSPENSION:FRONT:CONTROL ARM:LOWER BALL JOINT

VEHICLE DESCRIPTION: PASSENGER VEHICLES. CERTAIN VEHICLES WERE MANUFACTURED WITH BALL JOINTS THAT CAN PREMATURELY WEAR OUT AND, IN THE WORSE CASE, THE BALL JOINT WOULD SEPARATE CAUSING THE FRONT SUSPENSION TO COLLAPSE.

After you turn off your engine and remove the key, you hear a loud popping noise that sounds like an explosion coming from the rear right of your van. The fix may involve inspecting suspension components, brake system parts, or other rear-end assemblies to locate the noise source.
