Your trunk lid has repeatedly fallen and hit you on the head. The support bar that holds the trunk open has now broken, so the trunk won't stay open on its own and slams shut with significant force—a potential injury hazard. The fix will likely involve replacing the trunk lid support struts or gas springs.

Your car's paint has begun peeling extensively across the trunk, roof, and hood, starting about two years ago and progressively worsening. The roof paint is nearly gone in large sections, and white lines are visible on the hood where the finish is failing. Honda issued a recall for this issue but did not properly notify owners, and you believe the problem stems from substandard paint materials used during manufacturing.

I LOVE MY HONDA CIVIC AND THIS IS THE 2ND ONE I'VE HAD, HOWEVER I HAVE ONE SAFETY ISSUE WITH THE 2011, VISIBILITY AND BLIND SPOTS WHILE DRIVING. SITTING IN THE DRIVERS SEAT, THE PART BETWEEN THE FRONT WINDSHIELD AND THE PASSENGER SIDE WINDOW HAS NEARLY CAUSED ME SEVERAL ACCIDENTS. I PULL UP TO STOP SIGN, AND ROAD LOOKS CLEAR, BUT WHEN I START TO PULL OUT, I JUST MISS A CAR OR TRUCK THAT WAS CAUGHT IN THAT ONE BLIND SPOT. HONDA SHOULD LOOK INTO THIS AND FIX THE DESIGN OF THIS AREA. *TR
