Filed: Jul 2024

Your vehicle has lurched forward unexpectedly after you turned off the engine and pressed the brake pedal while parking — both in drive and reverse. This happened at least twice, and once caused your passenger mirror to hit another vehicle. The dealer reprogrammed your transmission software, but the problem continued to occur. A repair would likely involve further transmission software updates, transmission fluid replacement, or evaluation of the brake system and engine control modules.
