mediumSERVICE BRAKES,LANE DEPARTURE
Filed: Mar 2026

Your dashboard keeps displaying an alert saying a trailer is connected even though you don't have one hooked up. When this happens, you also see a message stating that blind spot and cross traffic alerts are deactivated because of the false trailer detection. This issue has occurred multiple times over several weeks. The fix will likely involve diagnosing and reprogramming the trailer detection sensor or updating the vehicle's software.
