Your 2022 Durango suddenly accelerated on its own while stopped at a red light in the rain, hitting the car in front of you—without you pressing the accelerator pedal. The driver suspects an electronic or computer malfunction possibly related to moisture from the rain. This unintended acceleration could cause serious injury or death, and may involve the forward collision avoidance system or engine control computer.
