Your front brake pads wore down to 2mm (essentially completely worn) in less than 2 months and 13,700 miles, causing squeaking sounds when accelerating, coasting, or braking. At your first service in December, no abnormal wear was noted, but by February the pads were critically thin despite your normal driving in Southern California. The cause is unclear—either the brake pads were defective, or another component is causing them to wear excessively due to continuous rubbing. Identifying the root cause is important; the dealership should inspect the brake system components like calipers and rotors to determine whether this is a pad defect or a mechanical issue causing premature wear.

Your Tahoe's radio and entertainment system aren't working reliably—there's no audio output, and the system turns on and off unpredictably even when you use the turn signal. You've found that other GM vehicles have experienced this same issue, and some owners have had success restarting the system in 'safety mode,' but your vehicle is only 15 months old with 38,000 miles. A dealer visit will likely be needed to diagnose whether this is a software glitch, a connection issue, or a hardware failure in the infotainment system.
