Your 2023 Tahoe has experienced multiple system failures at startup on several occasions, where your brakes become unresponsive, your steering wheel locks up, and you lose vehicle control—creating a serious safety hazard. When this happens, your dashboard displays warnings including "Brake system failure" (limiting you to 43 mph), forward collision system unavailable, and multiple service alerts for traction control, electronic stability control, steering column lock, and brake pad monitor. Your dealership has replaced several modules and your battery multiple times, and even performed a recall software update, but the problem keeps recurring.

Your 2023 Tahoe's steering wheel pulls to one side while driving straight, requiring you to constantly correct the steering to stay in your lane. Even though no warning lights appeared, this misalignment creates a safety concern because it affects how the vehicle tracks and handles on the road. The steering components were inspected and replaced by the dealer, but the issue required multiple service visits. The fix likely involves realigning the steering system and checking suspension components that affect wheel alignment.

The car was parked totally normal, went into a store, then came out to start it and when it was put in drive every light on the dash came on and gave a warning for “brake system failure top speed 43 mph” “service traction control” “service esc” “service steering column lock” “service brake pad monitor” “trailer brakes disabled service required”. Shut the vehicle off and restarted with same results. Brakes were inoperable and almost hit the car parked in front of me. Let the car shut down for a couple hours came back and started it and now everything acts normal except there is a Check engine light. Haven’t read the codes yet but am making an appointment at the dealer for warranty work.
The car presented steering lock column issues with repair lights on at 50 miles. Since then, they have repaired the system numerous times and replaced that system fully twice. They also replaced the manual start system and six other pieces of the car over 18 visits to two different Chevy dealerships. The car still reduces speed and stops acceleration, has electric issues in the windows, lights and gate etc.
I was driving down [XXX] in LaPuente and every light on my dash lit up and I attempted to Exit freeway and my brakes would not work so I waited for car to slow down and luckily I was near by the Puente hills Chevrolet dealer. Also my steering wheel was very lose and it felt that I couldn’t steer well. I pulled into dealership and had to push my brakes all the way to the floor board just for Tahoe to stop. Dealer said that there was various communication codes which they said vehicle would have to stay due to safety issues. My vehicle has been at dealer for 3 days so far INFORMATION REDACTED PURSUANT TO THE FREEDOM OF INFORMATION ACT (FOIA), 5 U.S.C. 552(B)(6)
