The contact stated that the fraying of the belt webbing was slight but over time had become more noticeable and the contact was concerned that the belt would tear during a crash. The contact had not taken the vehicle to a dealer. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was informed of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 80,000.
The middle row seat belt on the drivers side is failing to retract and secure my child. It is premature failure on a 5 year old model vehicle.
