criticalELECTRONIC STABILITY CONTROL (ESC),SERVICE BRAKES
Filed: Nov 2019

Your service stability light comes on and your Tahoe becomes immobile—the brakes lock up completely and won't release even in neutral. You've already replaced the ABS module, ABS valves, brake pads, rotors, master cylinder, and booster, but the problem persists and keeps throwing the same error code (C0131) pointing to a rear dump valve failure. The vehicle becomes undrivable and requires towing. Fixing this likely involves diagnosing and replacing the ABS dump valve or addressing underlying wiring/sensor issues in the stability control system.
