While driving on the highway, your truck's message center told you to restart and shift to neutral, but then said conditions weren't right to shift. You lost power steering and brakes, and after turning the truck off, it wouldn't restart — the lights flickered and the starter wouldn't engage. The tires seized up during towing, and the emergency brake kept resetting itself. The dealership found catastrophic engine failure at under 24,000 miles. This is your second major engine problem (the first involved collapsed lifters at 5,000 miles), raising serious concerns about the vehicle's reliability and safety. Repairs will likely require a complete engine replacement, though you've noted other owners report similar issues with replacement engines.

Your adaptive cruise control is unexpectedly applying the brakes while driving on clear roads with no vehicles or obstacles ahead, sometimes slowing your truck from 70 mph down to 30-40 mph or even locking up the brakes hard from 60+ mph. This has happened repeatedly despite 25 dealer visits, and the dealers say they cannot identify or fix the problem. You're also experiencing issues with blind-spot mirror warning lights, Bluetooth disconnecting during calls, false "Take Wheel" alerts, trailer light warnings, and radio skipping. A diagnostic inspection and potential reprogramming of the adaptive cruise control system and vehicle's central computer may be needed to identify the root cause.

I was driving to work from Livingston to Bozeman and the roads were bad so I was only going about 60 maybe 65 which was reasonable for the conditions this day, and out of nowhere my truck locked up and I slid it directly into the center median.
