Your engine has developed a blown head gasket, which is allowing coolant to leak into your engine oil. You may not notice any warning lights or messages on your dashboard, but this is a serious internal engine problem. The dealership will likely need to remove the cylinder head and replace the gasket to fix the issue.

Your engine's variable valve timing system triggered a check engine light due to a faulty solenoid that controls exhaust camshaft positioning. You may experience reduced fuel economy, drivability issues, or emissions problems. GM has issued a special coverage repair program for the 2020 model year with the same engine, but your 2019 is not included despite having identical parts and the same defect. Fixing this typically involves replacing the exhaust camshaft position actuator solenoid.

You noticed oil leaking underneath your parked truck with no warning lights. A mechanic found a leaking valve cover gasket and replaced it, but the oil leak came back. When you returned, they found the real problem was a failed CAM shaft carrier gasket also leaking oil. The fix will involve replacing the CAM shaft carrier gasket to stop the oil leak.
