Your brakes failed to respond when you pressed the pedal while driving at 25-30 mph in light rain, and your Automatic Emergency Braking system didn't activate either. This caused you to collide with the vehicle ahead of you. The failure happened suddenly with no warning lights or symptoms beforehand. The dealership will need to inspect the brake system and emergency braking components to determine what caused the complete loss of braking.
